unfortunately I picked up my 10th yellow card against FC Augsburg and have been therefore suspended for the home match against SpVgg Greuther Fuerth. I took the opportunity and watched the match together with Georg Niedermeier in the middle of the fans. Sadly our cheering didn't help as we lost 0:2.

Happily, I was able to stand on the pitch again last Saturday in the away match against Schalke 04 and scored both goals of our 2:1 victory. I'm very proud that I could help my team claiming the three points.

With this confidence we are now going into the last match of this 2012/2013 season against FSV Mainz 05. I'm very happy that we play at home and hope that we can get our fans in the perfect mood for the big cup-final on June 1st in Berlin.

it was an incredible, an unique and an unforgettable week in which a lifetime dream became true for me - the final of the German DFB-Cup!

With our 2:0 home win against Borussia Moenchengladbach we gained the important confidence and showed this sensational performance against SC Freiburg. The atmosphere in the stadium was outstanding, I got goose bumps all over me as I walked onto the pitch. The match was so intense and as the referee blew the final, everyone freaked out! It's the first final for Stuttgart since 2007 and for me personally the first one in my career.

As fate willed we played on Sunday again against Freiburg and won again 2:1 - a perfect week!

In the season's final we still will play against FC Augsburg, SpVgg Greuther Fuerth, Schalke 04 and FSV Mainz 05.

On June 1st the long awaited final of the DFB-Cup will take place in Berlin against FC Bayern Munich.

Now our main goal is to get the best out of every remaining match!

if you look at our last two matches against Borussia Dortmund and Hannover 96, you probably would expect another results. If you just look at the results, you probably would expect other courses of the games. And exactly this is the gap - we play really well, but we do not achieve the logical results.

We showed a high class performance against Dortmund, but had to admit defeat at the end (1:2). In Hannover we also showed great discipline and could have won the match by just scoring one goal, but eventually we could also have lost, so the draw is ok.

I hope we will soon get again the right results. Our first chance to do so will be on Sunday the home match against Borussia Moenchengladbach. Especially with regards to the upcoming semi-final clash in the German Cup against SC Freiburg next week, this match will be very important.

Hi friends,

we are really looking forward to tommorow's home match against Borussia Dortmund and prepared on highest level.

After our important 2:1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt I played with the national team last weekend against Greece and won 3:1. I'm happy of course that I scored the interim 2:0 and got further confidence.

In the final spurt of this Bundesliga season we have to continue winning points and get the most out of every single match. We know of course, that the Mercedes-Benz Arena will be totally sold out against the German champions, therefore we can hardly wait for the match to begin.

Our last four battles in the league against Dortmund all ended up in a draw. Surely we really would like to get the first threepointer tommorow with our fans behind us, but really anything can happen and that is why this is going to be a thrilling match.

Dear friends,

on the one hand it?s an unbelievable feeling of happiness to claimed successfully the first three-pointer in the second half of the Bundesliga season, and on the other hand it?s clearly a huge ballast falling apart.

Despite the losses in the last weeks we always continued working hard, but we lost somehow the self-conception to leave the pitch as winners.

With our 1:0 victory in Hoffenheim we?ve hopefully started the turnaround now and can look forward to the upcoming weeks more optimistically.

For me personally it has just been impressive to see, how sacrificially our fans supported us, not matter which results we had and I?m incredibly thankful for that!

On Thursday we have to give everything in Genk to reach the next round in UEFA?s Europa League. Although the one all draw might not be the perfect starting position for the second leg, we still have all chances and with our regained self confidence I?m hopeful, that we also achieve this target together with our fans.

there is only one thing that could help VfB Stuttgart and my right now - a win!

The 1:4 loss last weekend against Werder Bremen was a reflection of our current problems. We try and give everything but we just don't have the confidence to convert our ideas finally in goals. In our yesterday's first leg match of UEFA Europa League against KRC Genk the situation was quite similar. We were absolutely ahaead of the match and leading 1:0, but we missed to seal the deal and received the equalizer in injury time.

From my point of view we just need a victory now to lose the subconscious uncertainty and to be able to bring our performance at 100% level. On Sunday evening we have to chance when we play away against my former club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. We simply have to claim the three points no matter what.

I really appreciate your support, especially in this difficult situation.

our loss against Fortuna Duesseldorf last weekend was a kick in the teeth for uns. We honestly didn't play very well and just did too many easy faults. During our training sessions I always have a good feeling, because the attitide is perfect and therefore I'm really hoping that we'll play successfully on Saturday against Werder Bremen.

Sometimes it's going really quick, we just need a few good scenes and the confidence is immediately back.

I'm happy that I had the chance to boost my confidence with the national team. We won 3:0 against Slovenia and I scored the leading goal.

we had a really good and tough preparation for the second half of the season, wherefore it was quite naturally really sad for me to miss the second leg kick-off against VfL Wolfsburg due to my ban.

In the southern derby against autumn champions Bayern Munich I was finally able to stand again on the pitch with my teammates. We knew of course in forehand that this was going to be a really tough match and we had to be concentrated at all time. Especially in the first half our performance was really strong and we created a few chances as well. At the end of the day we lost in two situations the overview and Bayern took it icecold. It's a part of sports and football to handle defeats, and I'm absolutely convinced, that we will return to our successful track on Satuday in Dusseldorf.

Fortuna will surely be difficult to play with their fans behind them and will show a good fighting spirit. The crucial aspect in my eyes will be, that we stand compact in our defense and play patiently.

Hi guys,

I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing christmas with your families and friends. I had a wonderful time with my family and got new energy now for the upcoming challenges in 2013. At the same time I had the chance to review the last year and indeed many important things happened in 2012.

Right at the beginning of the new year I decided to go for a new challenge when I signed with VfB Stuttgart and I didn't regret this decision for a single day. I really feel comfortable here and all of my teammates welcomed with me open arms.

From a sportive perspective 2012 has been a great year for me. Since I play in Stuttgart I scored 18 goals and 10 assists in 28 Bundesliga-matches. Moreover, I scored in all three DFB Cup matches so far and scored internationally 5 goals in 8 Europe League games.

All in all we had a great year as a team, we still play an important role in all three competitions and in the Bundesliga we are only one point behind place 6 and five points behind the 3rd place.

We'll kick off the next year on January 3, 2013 with the first training session and fly afterwards on the next day to Turkey for the training camp. Our first Bundesliga-match of the second leg will be away at VfL Wolfsburg und January 19. In the Europa League we'll play KRC Genk at first at home on February 14, and in the German Cup we'll face 2nd division team VfL Bochum also at home on February 26.

At this point I'd like to thank all of you for the stunning support I received from you this year! You've always been behind me and gave me the confidence and energy to achieve everything I did this year, wherefore I'm unbelievably thankful.

surely I will never forget the last Saturday - at our 3:1 win against Schalke I scored all three goals and won this important match with my team.

Only two days after our loss against Molde we showed a high-class performance against Schalke and I'm really really proud, but we have to stick to this trend in Mainz. It will be the last Bundesliga match of the first leg and we can round off this first half of the season with a win.

On Wednesday evening we'll afterwards face 1. FC Koeln in the round of 16 of the DFB-Cup. This really would be a blast and a great pre-christmas present for us all, if we could make the quarterfinals safe.

Hi guys,

like I expected our away match against the promoted team Greuther Fuerth needed huge effort.

We started well against the players from Fuerth who kept it tight at the back. Just before the referre blew the half time whistle I was fouled in the box - penalty! I wanted to bring my team in front, but unfortunately the keeper saved it. Luckily Shinji was fast enough and converted the rebound.

Shortly after half time Serdar was sent off, wherefore we had to change our tactics a little bit. In the end the 1:0 victory has been a hard piece of work and I'm very proud on my team.

On Thursday we'll play the very important last match of the Europa League group stage at home against Molde FK. Needless to say, we want to win and I'm really looking forward to get cheered forward by our fans.

it was a great feeling to play again at Mercedes-Benz-Arena and our opponent was the FC Augsburg.

I was really looking forward to this clash and thankfully I was able to help my team at our 2:1 victory with one assist and one goal.

Tomorrow we will face in an away match the SpVgg Greuther Fuerth, and they definitively will try everything in their home match to claim the points. We just have to be patient and fight, then we should be able to take the points back to Stuttgart and get the second win in a row.

right now we have a high rhythm regarding our matches. On Thursday we were able to show everything we got in Bukarest, against SC Freiburg yesterday the last percents have just been missing.

The 3:0 loss is pretty high of course, although we were absolutely even till the second goal fell, but if we would have converted our chances more effectively, maybe the match would have had a different outcome. Due to the midweek matches we don't really have much time to think about yesterday's match, but just have to flip the switch and concentrate on our next match against FC Augsburg.

I'm really looking forward to play at home again after three away matches in a row (including the Europa League match) on Wednesday and I'm convinced that we can show an effective performance again with our fantastic fans behind us.

I'm still really enthusiastic about our yesterday's match - we won 5:1 in the Europa League against Steaua Bukarest.

On the last weekend we already claimed the points in Moenchengladbach with a 2:1 victory.

Although we got one goal behind in the 7th minute, Martin immediately equalized and 15 minutes before the final whistle blew we benefited from an own goal.

On Sunday we are facing in an away match the in-form SC Freiburg, which won last weekend in Hannover.

Hey friends,

our last Bundesliga match against Hannover 96 has been the best example how fast an almost surely won match can turn around. After Christian scored the leading goal I converted a penalty and very likely only a few people believed that this match will end differently. But obviously we didn't concentrate 100% and therefore we brought Hannover back to the game.

Luckily we can use the international break to refresh our heads and come back successfully on Saturday in Moenchengladbach. I will play with the national team on Wednesday in Algeria and be back on Thursday in Stuttgart.

In Moenchengladbach we are definitively expecting a see-saw match in which we have to be focused for the entire match time. The "foals" equalized two times during their last match in Fuerth and won in the end 4:2.

Hey guys,

still having in mind the 4:4 from last season, many people expected a similar thrilling match. In my eyes this was indeed applicable to the match from Saturday, although it ended in a goalless draw.

Both Dortmund an we played offensively right from the start and created some really good chances. After the half time break Dortmund increased the pressure, but we worked hard defensively as a team and therefore deserved the point in the end.

On Thursday we continue on the international stage in Copenhagen. After so far chequered results in the Europa League we will quite naturally give everything to claim the three points, although it will be a tough exercise of course.

We have enough confidence and especially the quality to keep up to Copenhagen and Hannover 96 on Sunday.

Hey guys,

with our 3:0 victory in the cup against St. Pauli we confirmed our 2:1 win from the weekend against the well performing promoted team Eintracht Frankfurt.

Both games have been hard work, against Frankfurt we scored the winner in the 84th minute. After a great build-up by Martin I scored my fifth goal of this season.

Quite naturally we wanted to stick to this performance in the cup and we were totally focused and active right from the kick-off. After 21 minutes Ibrahima broke the tie and just one minute afterwards I extended our lead. With the 3:0 shortly before half time through Tamás the match has been decided and at the same time this was the final result.

When I think of our upcoming league match against Dortmund, unavoidably the memories of this unforgettable 4:4 from the last season come to my mind. It's highly probable that this was one of the best Bundesliga matches of the last few years and I'm very proud to have been a part of it.

The reigning champions Borussia Dortmund will have lots of confidence after their last results, especially the win against Real Madrid in the Champions League. Nonetheless, we know not least because of the match last season, that we are strong enough to keep pace.

on Thursday evening the last friendly with the national team took place at the Soldier Field-Stadium in Chicago against Mexico. After we lost a few days ago already against Ireland by one goal, we tried to at least play this match successfully.

Just six minutes have been played, when Mexiko took the lead, which Edin Dzeko equalized after half an hour. In injury time, as most of the fans already accepted the draw, Mexico scored the winner.

Afterwards I traveled to St. Louis where my family lives and there I'm now going to spend my holidays within the family circle.

On July the 2nd I'll start the preparation with my teammates from VfB Stuttgart. So far, I wish you all an awesome summer and an exciting UEFA Euro.

Dear friends,

it has been a few days since the season ended and I had some time to work off these unforgettable impressions.

My switch to VfB Stuttgart turned out to be absolutely the perfect decision, I came back to old strength and I feel well. The fact that we could end the season on the 6th place due to the terrific second half of the season makes me very happy and underlines the high quality of our team. But to relax on the achieved things? Not with me, I'm just too ambitious! I'm convinced that I can still improve and I will work hard for it.

After the season ended we played a few friendly matches first, afterwards I flew to the national team. Luckily we play inter alia in Chicago against Mexico, wherefore I can stay afterwards in the USA and spend some time with my family.

The first training in Stuttgart is scheduled for July 2nd, until then we all are going to enjoy our holidays and the UEFA Euro.

33 matchdays have been played, a single one is still to be played - and we have still the chance to reach the 5th place!

Unfortunately we couldn't claim any points last weekend against Champions League finalist Bayern Munich and Leverkusen won against Hannover, so we are currently on the 6th place.

The gap to Leverkusen in the table is however only one point and we are very lucky to play our last match of the season in front of our home croud at Mercedes-Benz-Arena.

With a three-pointer against VfL Wolfsburg of us and Leverkusen losing points in Nuremberg we can still end this season not least because of our terrific second leg on place 5.

I really hope that we will achieve this goal and complete this for me personally very eventful season positively.

we drove to Cologne with a lot of self-confidence. Anyway it was clear to everyone that the FC will give 100% to avoid the relegation.

Sadly we couldn't turn on the style we showed in the previous games, but the draw was fully deserved in the end.

Now there is luckily a real highlight waiting for us: the southern derby against Bayern Munich. The German record champion has to play the semifinals of UEFA Champions League during this week, while we can totally focus on the upcoming clash next weekend.

For the big end of the season we are expecting VfL Wolfsburg at home where I hope to see many of you to celebrate the end of this successful season together.

the match against the team from the Weser was from huge importance for us with regard to the Europa League qualification. All the prouder I am that we showed a top-performance again and decided the match with 4:1 for us.

As soon as the referee blew the whistle we gave everything and took control over the match. Out of nowhere came the leading goal for Werder, who was pretty strong in the defense afterwards. But the trust in our strengths remained unimpressed and we already turned the match around before the half time was on. In the second half we still wanted to show our fans a great match and underlined with the 4:1 victory our current form.

It was a pretty important three-pointer for us, after which we can go very confident into the away match against Cologne. We have to prepare ourselves for a hard-fought game in which we must be patient, because Cologne is fighting against the relegation and has three "finals" remaining.

our match against Augsburg on Tuesday began similar to the one before against Mainz 05. We fell behind early, this time due to a penalty. Nevertheless, we were not deterred at all and focussed on our style of play - successfully, because even before the half time whistle was blown we had already turned the match around through goals by Serder and Martin.

In the second half we continued to play deliberately and needless to say I'm very proud of my sixth goal in the last four matches and the final result score of 3:1.

The next match against Werder Bremen is already tonight, so please wish us luck, but in addition to that, I'm sure that we can stick to our performances shown in the last weeks.

first of all I'd like to wish you all Happy Easter and I hope you are all enyoing some relaxing days together with your families.

Nonetheless, the ball was rolling this weekend in the Bundesliga stadia and we had to face FSV Mainz 05 in a home match. After the memorable match in Dortmund last week we tried everything of course to stick to this performance, but the match started differently... Just three minutes have been played when Mainz converted a penalty and took the lead. Not even five minutes afterwards Tamas already equalized and we took over control of the match. We didn't just show a good attitude, but moreover showed some really good football.

A few minutes after the second half was startet I scored a perfectly crossed ball from Gotoku per header. We continued to play offensively and also converted a penalty shot. In the 85th minute I completed the final score of 4:1 after a corner kick.

We have now been unbeaten for seven matches in a row and the last five season games in the Bundesliga are now coming stroke upon stroke. Already tomorrow we play the next one in Augsburg, where the FC has acclimated itself to the Bundesliga in the meantime and nearly drawed last matchday against Bayern Munich.

the few days our 2:1 win at my old club TSG Hoffenheim there has been a huge media interest in my person quite naturally, after I scored both goals in this match. In the end I'm just happy to helped my team winning this match, but unfortunately I received my fifth yellow card so I could not play last weekend against Nuremberg. All the more I'm happy and proud that my teammates achieved victory and won the match 1:0.

Tomorrow we will be the guest team in Dortmund where we are going to face the current champions and table-toppers Borussia Dortmund. I'm happy to be back on bord since this will be one of our toughest exercises. After all we want to continue our series and Dortmund on the other hand is reaching for the stars again and needs every point as we do.

I'm sure it will be a highly attractive match for all viewers and I hope we'll have the better end for us.

Hi guys,

after our two terrific wins in a row we played against Kaiserslautern who had a strong defensive performance and kept it over 90 minutes. We just didn't make it to score the single goal, that may had decided everything.

But as is it goes and how it's usual we checked off the match quickly and faced the upcoming derby against TSG Hoffenheim. I don't think that I have to emphasize that is a special match for me after I had great years in Hoffenheim and signed with Stuttgart in the winter break.

I look forward to catch up with my old teammates and companions to which I still have a good contact. Nevertheless, in the thick of the action is clearly the match itself which we try to win with the passion we showed especially in the last matches. On the other hand there is an Hoffenheim who has to make amends for their 1:7-loss against Bayern Munich last week.

after nearly six weeks at my new club VfB Stuttgart I can offer a more than positive summary of my time here so far.

The coach placed his trust in me right from the first match onwards and the team welcomed and integrated me as well unbelievably positive.

During the last week I spent some time with the national team in Switzerland and played an attractive international friendly against the host of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, Brazil. I even scored the interim equalizer but unfortunately Brazil had the winner in the last minute.

Absolutely doubtless is nonetheless our last match in Hamburg one of our greatest matches so far in the season. We won 4:0 and I scored once as well as I gave the forward pass to another goal.

I feel vindicated each day that it was the right decision for me to move forward to Stuttgart and I'm desperately looking forward to our next match against the "red devils" from Kaiserslautern. If we manage to build on our last performance we are going to show our fans a great and hopefully successful match,

two weeks ago, we showed a terrific performance against Hertha BSC Berlin and drove to Hannover one week later fully motivated to build on this success. Too bad, we couldn't put our intentions into action... Therefore, it was highly important for us, to show our real face again in the home match against SC Freiburg.

Freiburg catched attention recently as they drew against Bayern Munich. We definitively wanted to capture the match right from the start and I'm very happy and proud how we did it. Absolutely deserved we took a two goal lead into half time and won the match in the end with 4:1.

Now it's our duty to reenforce this performance away at Hamburger SV. Moreover, it's a big chance to claim some very important points against a direct competitor.

after we lost against Bayern Munich in the German cup and didn't perform that well, we gave everything to win the match against Hertha BSC Berlin at home with the support of our fans. And we made it - and how!

5:0 was the final result and it was just a terrific match and an unforgettable one for me, because I scored in the 24th minute my first goal for VfB Stuttgart and opened the scoring.

I'm sure we needed this lift and I hope we continue to play this way. On sunday we will have a difficult away match against Hannover 96, who on the other hand have a hard match in the Europa League to play on Thursday. Anyway, we will prepare ourselves absolutely focused and in detail.

Hi friends,

as you may have recently noticed in the media, I left my former club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim two days ago to join VfB Stuttgart with immediate effect.

After four and a half years, 135 official matches and 54 goals it was time for me to take on a new challenge. The club always supported me in every condition of life, and I'm unbelievably proud to been a part of this positive development.

I look back on many years in Hoffenheim full of positive memories, and I would like to thank at this point my coaches Ralf Rangnick and Holger Stanislawski, all staff members and Dietmar Hopp, my teammates and especially you guys for those unforgettable moments. I really appreciate that no one put any obstructions in my way and I could fulfill my wish to move on to Stuttgart.

At VfB Stuttgart I was meanwhile well received and already worked through the first few training sessions. I'm really looking forward to the atmosphere at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena in Stuttgart, where we are going to play against VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday.

the new year 2012 is already on for a few days, but nontheless I really hope you guys had a relaxing christmas and started successfully into the new year. I spent the holidays at home and recharged my batteries.

Just a few days before Christmas Eve TSG and me won the important last 16 encounter of the German Cup against league rival FC Augsburg 2:1, in which I scored the final goal. In the quarter finals we are going to face second division team Greuther Fürth on Wednesday, 08.02.2011 at 7:00 pm at WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

But first of all our main focus lies upon the preparation for the second half of the season, which we started with on 2nd January. Not as many other clubs do, we will not fly into a training camp, but instead concentrate on very specific aspects at our centre in Zuzenhausen. In this context we had a friendly match today against FSV Frankfurt, in which I played 60 minutes and scored one goal (final result: 2:2).

For our next test match we will travel to Hamburg, to play against FC St. Pauli on Sunday.

the last few weeks have been highly emotional for me.

After I successfully came back to the pitch during the match against VfB Stuttgart, I was incredibly looking forward to our home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Especially as the coach nominated me for the starting eleven. Fabian did a great job and perfectly assisted wherefore I was able to score the 1:0, which moreover turned out to be the final result. An indescribable feeling for me!

In the following matches against Schalke and Kaiserslautern I even scored again in each match, although we unfortunately had to admit defeat after Schalke's brace and only drew again Kaiserslautern. In Hamburg we basically showed a strong performance, but at the decisive situations we haven't been forcing enough. Nonetheless I'm sure, that this will be different on Saturday at WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena against SC Freiburg!

Another very emotional moments for me have been the Play-Off matches with the national team against Portugal. We tried everything to fulfill our big dream! All the more motivated we'll play the Play-Offs for the FIFA World Cup!

the long time and the hard rehabilitation has finally come to an end - on Saturday I finally played again in the Bundesliga after a five month long break.

When the coach called me and I was sent on in the 62nd minute against VfB Stuttgart, I was indescribably motivated. Especially as we took control over the match although we were one goal behind and I badly wanted to help the team. Unfortunately, we couldn't beat Stuttgart on the seventh attempt and had to drive back to Sinheim with a 0:2 loss on our backs. I really hope and I'm optimistic that we'll improve a lot until the home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Although Gladbach is currently having a huge wave of success, we can always count 100% on our fans and we'll show a great fight.

A huge and an emotional help for me were the internationals last week. After we won clearly against Luxembourg we reached a one all draw in France through which we qualified for the Play-Offs. Our opponent in the both duels on 11th and 15th November...Portugal!

As you probably remember, we already played the play-offs for the 2010 FIFA World Cup against them and lost both matches 0:1.

Now we have the once in a lifetime opportunity to take revenge and fulfill the big dream!

roughly two weeks ago I eventually joined again the official team training after completely curing my upper leg injury. Since then I have been enjoying every single session and feel better from day to day. On the past weekend I had the chance to absorb the Bundesliga-atmosphere again at close quarters, because I claimed a space in the squad after my ten weeks long injury lay-off, although I wasn't called into action

We reached deservedly a goalless draw against the record champion and table topper FC Bayern München, and although there haven't been any goals, I think every fan was enthusiastic and satisfied with the match.

For the next match we are travelling again to the South of Germany when we have to play VfB Stuttgart at Mercedes-Benz-Arena. Since we promoted 2008 we couldn't celebrate a single three-pointer against them, so this should be motivation enough for all of us, to fight for the three points on October the 15th.

Until then, I gonna keep working on myself to reach a good performance level and come back to the pitch as soon as possible.

Right now I'm together with the national team in Bosnia-Herzegovina to prepare for the qualification match against Luxembourg. I guess everyone is expecting a clear win of us, but next Tuesday we have to play in France and this is going to be a way harder task.

I'm slowly starting with the training again and increase the intensity step-by-step in consultation with the coaches and the medicals. Nonetheless, it's difficult to forecast when I will play again with my teammates in the Bundesliga, but I'll try my best to realize this goal as soon as possible and thank you for your amazing support.

For me as a player, it's just the same sad as for you fans, to watch the guys losing a match against Werder Bremen without having the chance to help them on the pitch. We started really well into the match and took the lead but for no reason we lost control and gave away the three points. Nevertheless, we have a really young team with a great future ahead. We just have to follow our way and I'm proud to go this promising way together with my teammates in the future.

Therefore, I need to get fit soon, and I'm totally focused on that.

I knew it by intuition that our odds are good for the match against reigning champion Borussia Dortmund and I was right. We won the match through a terrific freekick from Sejad and a great team performance 1:0 and rackep up the first victory of this season.

I received lots of motivating messages from you and I can tell you know that I'm in cheerful spirits to be back on the pitch very soon. Most likely I will return into the regular team training next week and hopefully onto the big Bundesliga-stage shortly.

Our second away match of this season is going to take place tomorrow against FC Augsburg. The promoted team from Southern Germany tied in both matches so far against SC Freiburg and 1.FC Kaiserslautern. Therefore, they will be jonesing for the first three-pointer in front of their home croud. We are aware of that but nonetheless we will focus on our strengths and bring home the points with your support.

Hi guys,

my rehab is processing well so far and I took the chance on Wednesday to watch the international between Germany and Brazil in Stuttgart.

Our start with TSG into the Bundesliga didn't go that well and it was doubtless very unpleasant for me seeing the team losing in Hannoer without having the chance to help them actively on the pitch. The match was attractive for the spectators and was decided through set-pieces. Hannover took the lead after scoring a long discussed freekick, but we had the right answer just a few minutes later when Sejad took the responsibility and equalized a penalty. And once again just 12 minutes afterwards the referee gave another penalty on the other side which Hannover converted into the final result of 2:1.

We have to draw lessons from that and improve in tomorrow's home match against reigning champion Borussia Dortmund at WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena. In the last season we were the only team that reached four points against BVB and therefore we can go into the match absolutely confident.

I'm sure that my teammates will do a great job and hopefully we'll claim the points.

Dear friends,

just shortly after I finished writing my article last week a momentous event occured during the training session.

I felt a pain in my left thigh and had to cancel the training immediately. The checkup that was run by a specialist in Munich brang out a torn bundle of muscles. This will result in a eight week long compulsory break.

I'm unbelievably disappointed of course, especially due to the fact that the preparation went really well for me and I was hardly looking forward to the start of the season. Now my main goal is to completely cure the injury and come back onto the pitch as soon as possible. At least the team won the match against Germania Windeck and reached therefore the second round of the German Cup.

I will give my best to support the team mentally so that the season kick-off against Hannover 96 will be succesful. The team from Hannover played a fantastic season last year and have to underline their ambitions at home, while we know from the 4:0 victory last season how to play against them.

I'm nonetheless really excited and hope to be back as soon as possible.

Hi friends,

the friendly match against Waldhof Mannheim as well as the duel against the spanish first division team Racing Santander ended with a highly deserved win for us. At the Carl-Benz-Stadium in Mannheim I played as the only striker during our 4:1 victory, in which Roberto, Prince Tagoe, Ryan and one own goal saved us the win. Absolutely terrific was for me personally the fan- and familyday on Sunday. I was really looking forward to this event and it was just awesome to see the thrill of anticipation towards the upcoming season in everyone's eyes.

Before we headed towards the signing session we pooled our strengths and showed a strong performance against Racing Santander. With this 3:2 success on our backs we are perfectly prepared for our first official exercise in the first round of the German Cup. On Sunday at 4:00 pm we are facing the fourth division team Germania Windeck and it's up to us to prove our strength and not letting anyone doubt. Unfortunately, I'm suspended but I will try my best to support the team psychologically.

Hi guys,

in not less than just about two weeks the weeks of privation will be finally over and you can enjoy top-class football in Sinsheim.

On sunday we left around noon our training camp in Feldkirchen, Austria and flew back to Sinsheim. After we reached a one all draw in the final test match against Legia Warsaw, we just absolved a short session on saturday morning before in the afternoon the third and final part of the big teamchallenge took place, in which we eventually had to admit defeat against the winning team consisting of Sejad, Matthias, Sven and Roberto. We spend the evening together with our fans who traveled with us. Therefore, we made a barbecue for them to say "Thank you" for their support.

On the upcoming sunday the big fan- and familyday will take place at Rhein-Neckar-Arena and we will face spanish first division team Racing Santander in this context at 3:00 pm.

Hopefully I will see some of you there!
